We pride ourselves on always trying to make the right choices. We work hard with our passionate team and key partners throughout our supply chain to understand more about the impacts our products and sourcing decisions have on the planet. We can’t claim to be leaders but we are committed to learning quickly and doing it right.
SUSTAINABILITY
BUILT TO LAST
We are committed to designing and developing sportswear that is built to last. By paying close attention to customer feedback, employing rigorous, real-world testing procedures and obsessing over quality performance, we are confident our products will serve you well season after season, thereby reducing our impact on the environment.
Packaging
We are proud all our packaging will become fully recyclable in 2021. Our new poly bags are made from 70-per-cent recycled material, while our swing tags are created in FSC-certified eco materials and secured with paper string.
Our swing tags are compostable and biodegradable. Free from genetically modified organisms, acid and carbon black, they have been created using 40-per-cent consumer waste and produced with EKOenergy, resulting in a 20-per-cent reduction in carbon footprint.
Thrift+
We’re excited to partner with Thrift+ to offer you an easy way to donate your unwanted clothes. In return for helping us support the growth of the circular clothing movement, you have the opportunity to raise money for charity, earn credits to spend on Thrift+ and bag a 10% discount off dhb as a thank you from us.
Materials
More than 10 per cent of our sportswear has been created using totally natural or recycled fabrics. We are now researching recycled and sustainable materials that match or better the performance of our current fabrics for every new development to further lessen our environmental footprint.
MERINO
We use Merino wool from non-mulesed sheep. Much finer and softer than regular wool, this sustainable, environmentally friendly and biodegradable fibre is naturally odour resistant, anti-bacterial, breathable, thermo-regulating and UV resistant.
bluesign®
Twenty per cent of our products use bluesign® APPROVED fabrics. A sustainable textile solution, the bluesign® system removes harmful substances from the beginning of the manufacturing process and controls standards for environmentally-friendly production. Fabrics assessed and sustainably produced are designated as bluesign® APPROVED.
